There are six seasons in
Bangladesh. Every season has its own beauty. But I like the rainy season most
of all seasons. The rainy season is the second season. The Bengali month ‘Ashar’ and ‘Srabon’ are naturally called the rainy season.
The rainy season is happened due to
monsoon. Mostly, the south-west monsoon which blows from the tile of the Bay of
Bengal. It brings a huge amount of vapor. Then it causes a heavy rainfall and
finally the rainy season takes place in Bangladesh.
At the time of the rainy season,
the sky remains cloudy almost all the time. Sometimes, the sun cannot be seen.
Usually, it rains cats and dogs. Roads get muddy. Rivers, canals, ponds etc.
gets filled with water. And the banks are to be over flown.
The rainy season is really a
blessing for us. It is mostly important for Bangladesh. Bangladesh is an
agricultural country. Almost all the crops are dependent on rain water. It
makes our soil fertile. It also refines the atmosphere. It keeps a balance of
environment. It has some problems too. In this season, the roads get muddy. It
also becomes slippery. The farmers cannot go out for work. Many kinds of
diseases increase.
Rainy season is an important season for our country although it has some demerits. It gives a new life to the nature. So I love this season very much.
